Nici eu nu mai am rabdare pt filmele artistice. Dupa 10 min de vizionare, imi cam dau seama de toate cele, inclusiv final...rar un film care sa ma "prinda". In schimb serialele reusesc sa ma surprinda, in mod placut desigur

Ce sa le faci? Se pare ca S.F.-urile prind mai putin decat serialele siropoase

Tudy, sa stii ca la mine e cam invers. Au inceput sa nu-mi mai placa filmele artistice, fata de seriale. Am impresia ca in maxim 90 de minute nu pot evolua personajele... parca e totul pe fast forward. Taieturi peste taieturi, scurtaturi pentru a se incadra in timp... Si nu ai timp sa intelegi anumite personaje, sau sa le vezi in mai multe ipostaze. Nu e timp pt. multe rasturnari de situatie sau de o poveste expusa pe larg. Ce sa zic, i'm a "series" guy.

P.S. Eu ma uit si la seriale care nu-mi plac in mod exceptional, doar pentru a vedea ce se intampla cu un anumit personaj, sau caut stereotip-uri, sau imi imaginez ce as fi modificat eu la script. La naiba, cateodata ma uit si doar pt. ca-mi place cum joaca un singur actor din toata distribuitia. Pacat ca nu am suficient timp....

Conform IMDB se pare ca da. Pana la urma serialul are o gramada de premii si e foarte bun deci merita un sezon 2, poate si mai mult.

Nu a fost anuntat nimic oficial (imdb-ul nu e o sursa tocmai ok cand vine vorba de episoade si sezoane pentru ca poate fi editata pagina de oricine). Daca o sa apara, o sa mearga pe structura de antologie la fel ca True Detective.

As expected, FX has ordered a new season of "Fargo." And, as expected, it'll follow the "American Horror Story"/"True Detective" model of starting over from scratch.

Per FX's announcement this morning at the Television Critics Association press tour, "The new chapter of the 'Fargo' story will feature an all-new cast of characters, a new time period and a new 'true crime' story that will unfold over the course of 10 episodes."

One aspect of the acclaimed original season that won't change: Noah Hawley, who wrote all 10 episodes of season 1 — and who did a remarkable job of evoking the work of the Coen brothers without seeming like a bad imitator — will remain in charge of the show.

Many viewers had speculated that a second season would deal with the Sioux Falls case from the late '70s that Keith Carradine's character, Lou Solverson, kept alluding to. The mention of a new time period supports that theory, though the "all-new cast of characters" does not. For what it's worth, Hawley has been very cagey about the idea of a Sioux Falls season both times I've asked him.

But with such a terrific first season — and one that drew 18 Emmy nominations — I'm ready to trust Hawley on whatever he tries to do next with this world.

UPDATE: FX's John Landgraf said that the earliest the new "Fargo" season could debut would be fall of 2015, and that there will be "an all-new cast of actors," rather than taking the "American Horror Story" approach of recycling actors in new roles. There will be a panel later today with Hawley and producer Warren Littlefield, so we'll have more detail then.

Am terminat si eu Salem. Nu aveam mari asteptari, asa ca m-a surprins un picut. Daca inceputul e mai slow... devine interesant in timp. O sa-i acord nota 7.5 si de-abia astept sa vad partea a doua. O sa fiu sincer: initial m-am uitat doar pentru ca intro-ul e marca Marilyn Manson

More details about Fargo's second season:

The focus of season 2 will be Lou Solverson's (Keith Carradine) traumatic case in Sioux Falls back in 1979.

We will meet Molly's mother who was not seen in season 1, and learn what happened to her.

There are a lot of hidden clues in season 1 that will be explained/explored in season 2.

Season 2 will be inspired by the movies Fargo, Miller's Crossing and The Man Who Wasn't There.

The story will be set in Sioux Falls, Luverne and Fargo, and once again the show's base of production will be Calgary, in Alberta, Canada.

Fall 2015 is the return date.

If there is a season 3, characters from season 1 may return, just not in back-to-back seasons.

Anthony Hopkins & Evan Rachel Wood To Star In HBO Pilot ‘Westworld’

After True Detective, toplined by Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, the casting bar for HBO‘s new drama series is pretty high. Enter the pay cable network’s pilot Westworld, which has locked in Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins and Evan Rachel Wood for lead roles.

The project, inspired by Michael Crichton’s 1973 sci-fi movie set at an amusement park, hails from from J.J. Abrams‘ Bad Robot, Person Of Interest creator Jonathan Nolan, writer Lisa Joy Nolan, producer Jerry Weintraub and Warner Bros TV. It landed at HBO a year ago with one of the biggest commitments ever for the premium network, a pilot production commitment, and now has been officially greenlighted to pilot with Hopkins and Wood on board.

Described as a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin, the series will keep the setting of the movie, which starred Yul Brynner, Richard Benjamin and James Brolin and introduced new digital visual techniques.

In his first TV series role, Hopkins will play Dr. Robert Ford, the brilliant, taciturn and complicated creative director, chief programmer and chairman of the board of Westworld who has an uncompromising creativehbologo3 vision for the park — and unorthodox methods of achieving it. Wood plays the provincial, beautiful and kind Dolores Abernathy, the quintessential farm girl of the frontier West — who is about to discover that her entire idyllic existence is an elaborately constructed lie.

Also in talks for a lead role in the pilot is James Marsden. This marks Wood’s return to HBO where she had a recurring role on True Blood and co-starred in the miniseries Mildred Pierce. Husband-and-wife duo Jonah and Lisa Joy Nolan wrote the script and are executive producing Westworld with Abrams, Weintraub and Bryan Burk. Jonah also will direct.
