Sa faca doua versiuni: budget si premium

Acum pe bune, tu cat crezi ca poate sa coste in plus un plastic bun fata de un plastic ieftin?

Si prima afirmatie nu e chiar gluma, la PS3 au lansat initial asa, era versiunea de 60 gb "cromata" si card reader si versiunea de 20 gb "plasticata" fara card reader. Si de acolo au mers in jos cu toate, au scos 2 usb-uri, au scos card readerul de de la toate, au scos compatibilitatea SACD, au scos posibilitatea de a instala Linux, au facut consola din ce in ce mai urata...

Singurul lucru bun la versiunile mai noi a fost consumul mai redus si hdd-ul mai mare (si bluray-ul mai rapid), insa rest doar au "taiat" din ea. Consumul mai mic nu stiu pe cati intereseaza chiar asa mult, hard mai mare poti sa-ti pui oricand, bluray mai rapid nu prea conteaza daca oricum merg bine jocurile...

au scos posibilitatea de a fi compatibila cu unele jocuri ps2 pt a veni baietii destepti cu tot felul de remakeuri hd, basca ca unele dintre ele(jocuri) ,le putem cumpara(again) acum prin psn ce e drept.. la oferta!

pss4 nu vine cu nimic inovator e doar un bla bla al acelor bogatani pe care l-am mai auzit si inainte de lansarea ps3..

Atunci poti ramane pe PS3, nimeni nu te obliga sa treci pe PS4.Daca pentru tine ceea ce aduce PS4, este doar bla bla...atunci este clar.

Peste cativa ani se va razgandi

De ce sa ma razgandesc in cativa ani fiindca de luat o sa o iau PS4 at cand o sa apara asa cum am luat si primul PS3 in 2007(aprilie)..?

Si pretul care l-au facut din ce in ce mai "urat".Pe majoritatea nu cred ca-i intereseaza pretul...din ce in ce mai ok.

Da, sunt convins ca reducerile masive de pret au fost posibile fix datorita folosirii unui plastic mai ieftin, al eliminarii posibilitatii de a instala Linux, al scoaterii compatibilitatii cu SACD, al reducerii numarului de porturi USB, etc. Faptul ca chip-ul grafic costa initial zeci bune de dolari si dupa vreo 3-4 ani costa bani de seminte nu cred ca a contat. Nu mai zic de BluRay, Cell si alte chestii din consola pentru ca astea au contat si mai putin, sunt convins ca si tine ca plasticul ieftin i-a ajutat sa ne ofere consola la un pret mult mai mic.

Pana la urma conteaza mult jocurile oferite, daca vor oferi la lansare bundle Killzone Shadow Fall eu aproape sigur cumpar consola imediat dupa lansare. Daca insa consola va fi o cutie urata si galagioasa... astept urmatoarea revizie. Fiabilitatea (RROD, YLOD, NĂROD, etc) nu ma intereseaza chiar asa mult, oricum e imposibil de "prezis", ce rost are sa astepti 2-3 ani sa vezi cat de fiabila e consola? Oricum ai garantie 2 ani, daca pica mergi si o schimbi.

Epic Games VP on PS4: "It's Like Giving You the World's Best PC"

Once upon a time gaming PCs were too expensive, but 2013 is changing everything.

Epic Games Vice President Mark Rein is more excited for the PlayStation 4 than just about anyone else on the planet. While speaking to CVG he said:

It’s like giving you the world’s best PC. ‘We’re going to make it super convenient, we’re going to make it easy for you to get games on there, we’re going to start the games running while you’re downloading them and we’re going to perform your updates in the background.’ You’re not going to turn this thing off… you’re just going to sleep it and it’s going to come back on.

He added:

The kind of stuff that they announced that they’re doing, the level of convenience and things like that… they’re making a really perfect gaming PC.

Epic currently has no confirmed releases for the PS4, but its upcoming engine, Unreal Engine 4, supports the platform. Its new engine is already being used as the foundation for Fortnite, which is presently PC exclusive. But the PS4 makes ports much easier than the PS3 ever did, and if it sells as well as analysts are expecting, it’d be a mistake for Epic not to share Fortnite with PlayStation’s install-base.

Sony appears to have learned from the few costly mistakes it made last generation, and has turned around to make something that benefits developers and consumers alike. If PS4 is as good as it looks, Sony can devote its time to further improving its capabilities rather than trying to dig itself out of a hole like it did with the PS3.

Chestia asta n-a spus-o nimeni dar, ma gandesc asa, dupa cat timp de la lansarea PS4 vom vedea Windows ruland pe consola?

Si inca ceva, cred ca SEN va fi contra cost daca vom dori sa beneficiem de toate functiile noului PS4, am asa un feeling ca unele din ele nu vor functiona fara un SEN plus acolo.

Atata timp cat vor fi jocuri gratis+alte functii nu ma deranjeaza cu nimic sa platesc 50 de lire pe an.

David Cage Says PS4 Project Will Amaze You - PlayStation LifeStyle

Quantic Dream has been pushing exemplary visuals on the PlayStation 3 since Heavy Rain, and has raised the bar with the upcoming supernatural thriller, Beyond. However, despite some believing that some of the highly detailed renders from the game were for a PS4 version of the game, David Cage says that’s not the case, and what his team is doing on the PS4 will leave you “amazed”.

I know that some people are surprised by what we can do on PS3 with Beyond, and we have heard many people even question whether this is a current-gen game. But trust me, if I showed you what we’re doing with the PS4 you would be amazed. It’s really surprising. It’s another world.

David Cage was among the top developers that appeared on-stage at the PS4 unveiling this past February, showing off what the system is capable of. But it sounds like Quantic Dream’s PS4 project may be even more impressive than that tech demo, considering Cage’s comments. Knowing the studio’s level of graphical fidelity they’ve achieved on the PS3, we’d wager that it’s definitely a possibility. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Nu-i un pret rau... dar probabil este vorba de versiunea fara HDD (probabil vor scoate o versiune cu 32GB or so), fara Eye, cu doar un gamepad. Mai punem vreo 150-200 pentru a avea toate cele.
