Plus ca au renuntat deja la niste features pe care ei se bazau, cel putin aparent, foarte mult, daca ar renunta si la Kinect consola s-ar schimba cu totul. Si asta ar fi rau in primul rand pentru imaginea Microsoft, dar si pentru consola in sine care ar deveni un aparat ca oricare altu', fara nimic nou sau deosebit.
Pe mine ma interesa daca merge folosit profilu in acelasi timp pe ambele console si daca trebuie downlaodat de fiecare data pe console cand alternam intre ele

Gaming-ul inseamna cam aceeasi chestie si pentru mine, si nici eu nu sunt un mare fan al jocurilor pentru Kinect, Move sau Wii. Mi se par insa interesanta ideea de a controla mai multe device-uri prin intermediul Kinect-ului si sunt convins ca exista nenumarate posibilitati de a folosi microfonul integrat in Kinect pentru jocuri, de exemplu intr-un RPG sau pentru a da ordine intr-un shooter sau intr-un joc de strategie. Iar in conditiile in care nu toata lumea ar avea Kinect, producatorii nu ar prea avea motiv sa se foloseasca de Kinect, limitand astfel consola.Cu exclusivitatile care se pare ca vor sa le scoata va fi suficient de "deosebita" pt mine.

A name can really mean a lot. For Sony, it only makes sense to push forward with the numbering format with the PlayStation brand. Nintendo’s creative naming convention has left the company with a branding problem that might have affected the sales of the Wii U. Microsoft, on the other hand, seemed to have dozens of names it was considering before it finally decided on the Xbox One, and marketing and planning director Albert Penello has finally confirmed that the leaked “Xbox Infinity” name that was seen on reddit was, in fact, in the running.
"The name Xbox Infinity was in the running, I can say that," Penello told Forbes. "They're crafty. Who's to say that they didn't leak that name out in the weeks ahead of the launch? They are very crafty."
In the end, the company picked the name Xbox One, which is branding that will stick with the box for what’s sure to be a long lifecycle. In the end, though, why did Microsoft commit to this particular moniker?
"There's something very powerful about it. Xbox One really embodies the concept that this is the first device, the combination of this very powerful console that brings all its eight cores, 8GB of RAM, super fast memory, super powerful SoC we built, super powerful dedicated audio and video processing subsystems,” he continued.
The Xbox One will finally hit store shelves sometime this November, with a multimedia focus and TV service helping the hardware standout from its strong, popular competition.

The console transition will be expensive for both Microsoft and Sony, but somehow, the Xbox One is expected to either breakeven or see a small profit early on in its life. That’s according to Xbox chief marketing and strategy officer Yusuf Mehdi, who revealed Microsoft’s current strategy at the Citi Global Technology Conference.
"We're looking to be breakeven or low margin at worst on hardware and then we make money selling additional games, the Xbox Live service and other capabilities on top,” he said (via CVG). "And as we can cost reduce our box as we've done with 360, we'll do that to continue to price reduce and get even more competitive with our offering."
