Foarte probabil insa ne vor pune la dispozitie niste challenge-uri co-op, daca vor implementa co-op at all.
Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 Delayed - Meodia
Quote:
" We've been told that Warner has acted early to avoid releasing the game into a heavily congested pre-Christmas market. It wants to dominate the first quarter of 2011 instead, when it can get maximum retail space and mindshare amongst gamers."
Although Warner Bros. had never announced an exact release date for Arkham Asylum 2, It has been speculated that this game would be releasing this year. However, it seems that fans of the first game will have to wait for the sequel. But hopefully, this delay should give the developers even more room for improvement, even though the delay is clearly due to careful marketing by the publisher, WB, as stated in the above quote.
Hamill: Arkham Asylum 2 is Joker's Last Hurrah - PlayStation 3 News at IGN
Quote:
Mark Hamill – the voice of Joker in Batman: Arkham Asylum – has hinted that the super villain's appearance in the sequel could well be his last. Talking exclusively with IGN at the Cannes Film Festival, Hamill said of his role of the Joker, "This will be my last, there's no question about that. But it's the last hurrah."
Batman: Arkham Asylum Sequel Will Have a Different Art Style for Detective Vision
Quote:
At Develop 2010, Rocksteadys David Hego, who worked as the art director on Batman: Arkham Asylum revealed that the sequel would most certainly take a different visual direction for the detective vision mode that players used very often in the first game. The reason? Something quite interesting
When he would hear about people playing through the game entirely in the brightly coloured, X-ray-like mode, he would want to cry a little bit. he joked. It was a gameplay decision to make detective vision so strongwere going to try not to do that mistake again. Hego added that Rocksteady would make it more like augmented reality next time, strongly hinting that the developers would go with a different, more toned down visual style for the detective vision mode in the sequel.
First Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 details in next OXM and OPM

The UK's Official Xbox Magazine will reveal the first details of Warner's hotly anticipated Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 (proper name TBC, of course) in its October issue - which will hit shelves on Thursday, September 2nd.
And PlayStation fans won't miss out either - with Official PlayStation Magazine revealing PS3-related deets on the very same day.
The Next Month page in OXM's current issue promises: 'No joke: The first details and screens of Rocksteady's stunning sequel.'
We like the sound of stunning. The first game blew us away - we'd be very surprised if this doesn't manage the same.
Little is known about Arkham Asylum 2's content - although bad guys Two-Face, Mr. Freeze and Talia al Ghul have been outed.

Batman: Arkham City - First story details
Quote:
Rocksteady's released the first teasing story details for Batman: Arkham City, following the game's reveal this afternoon on the front of a US games mag.
According to the developer, Arkham City "builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City, the new maximum security 'home' for all of Gotham City's thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds."
As expected, the sequel's set inside the now "heavily fortified" walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, the developer's said, and a brand-new story that "draws together a new all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, " is promised.
Of course we already know that part of the "all-star" cast includes Cat Woman, Mr. Freeze and Two-Face.
Rocksteady also reckons "a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features" will deliver "the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight."
We can't wait to see some actual game content. Luckily, we only have to wait for the next issues of Official Xbox Magazine and Official PlayStation Magazine.
