    Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Already Being Fixed Thanks to the Beta Stage

    DICE and Electronic Arts, the developer and publisher, of the upcoming Battlefield 3 first person shooter, have confirmed a variety of fixes that will be implemented to the final game, following the recently deployed open beta stage.

    Battlefield 3 is awaited by a variety of shooter fans, and many have already tried out the open beta stage for the game's multiplayer, which started last week and lasts until October 10.

    DICE, the studio behind the title, has now confirmed that a variety of feedback has been gathered from fans and the developers are already addressing these complaints and making sure that the final game, which is out later this month, will work smoothly and without any sort of problems.



    For a full list of improvements made to the final version of Battlefield 3, check out the list below.


    * Fixed occasional client crash when reviving.
    * Fixed killcam showing glitched area under map if your killer is dead.
    * Issue with spawning on dead squad mates fixed.
    * Fixed a bug where shooting at a moving enemy could cause more than the intended amount of damage.
    * Crosshairs for shotguns have been replaced with a new, thinner, art.
    * A subtle low health screen effect has been added.
    * Tweaked scores of Medals and Service Stars.
    * Tweaked the Rank progression.
    * Pushing prone on console will not play the animation twice.
    * Fixed loss of Squad Leader after EOR at some times.
    * Framerate stability fixes.
    * The 3D spotting icons has been tweaked to better match the target's visibility.Icons will show frequently less on mostly obscured targets.
    * Fixed issue with crosshair disappearing after round transition.
    *Fixed issue with crosshair disappearing after trying to deploy while the countdown timer still active.
    * Squad list now shows specializations chosen, VOIP activity and dead squad mates.
    * Non working options in squad menu fixed: "Private" flag and "Switch Teams".

    We've already published our own quick look at the Battlefield 3 multiplayer beta and came out quite impressed, especially with the visual detail and the sharp animations.

    Battlefield 3 is out on October 25, in North America, and October 28, in Europe, for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

    The currently on-going beta testing of Battlefield 3 has proven to be massively successful for EA and DICE. In the second beta update on the series official blog, general manager Karl-Magnus Troedsson says that DICE is seeing “6 times the number of simultaneous players in the Battlefield 3 Open Beta compared to the Beta for Battlefield: Bad Company 2!”

    The public beta kicked off less than a week ago.

    To compare, the Bad Company 2 sampler early last year was downloaded 2 million times in its first 5 days of availability.

    The blog post also reiterates that the main purpose for the beta is to stress test the servers and backend, and that the game on show is based over a month old code, so bugs are to be expected; “the code you are now playing is actually quite early and not representative of the final game.”

    “The final game will look, play and sound better than the Open Beta. You have helped making sure of that.”

    Mda,si eu pot sa critic un joc pentru ca daca mori nu iti dai respwan.Patetic...

    Pff,chiar nu inteleg ce problema are omul ala,asta ii un joc,si in viata reala se folosesc lasere,cum aici nu ai nevoie de indemanari de maestru ca sa tintesti (deci un punct rosu nu te ajuta prea mult,spre deosebire de viata reala,unde te ajuta enorm un punctulet rosu acolo unde tintesti) au dat si ei un avantaj,si ca sa il primesti ai nevoie de laser pornit.Si cat despre tactical flashlight,daca iti lasi lumina aprinsa e treaba ta,eu oricum il folosesc numai la pistol,cand intru in cladiri sau printr-un loc inchis.Se mai gasesc si specimene care nu pot sa nu se bage in seama.

    As putea spune acelasi lucru si despre tine (mai multe posturi din urma de pe thread-ul asta, nu doar asta).

    Pana la urma omul ala din cate imi dau eu seama (nu am experienta reala in asa ceva) are dreptate.
    DICE a mai dat-o in bara si in trecut cu niste chestii elementare (vezi BC2: cartusele sunt "ejectate" prin stanga armei, in loc de dreapta, deci chiar prin fata ochilor tai).
    Si mie mi s-a parut la inceput total aiurea faptul ca poti sa bagi laserul in ochii adversarilor si sa-i "orbesti". Si exact ce spune si omul ala, nu cred ca sta nimeni sa se uite daca punctul ala cade pe inamic sau nu.
    "Hollywood drama" spune el, si-i dau dreptate.

    Intr-un joc care se vrea "mai realist" decat competitia, chiar nu vad rostul implementarii unor elemente doar de dragul de a umfla numarul de atasamente pentru o arma.


    in alta ordine de idei, stie cineva cam care e damage-ul armelor? Nu am apucat sa joc Beta pana acum decat 15 minute de dimineata, dar mi s-a parut ca se moare mult mai repede ca in BC2 de exemplu.

    Parca sa zic ca nu arata nicaieri detalii despre arma gen damage, range, reload rate etc. Poate nu am vazut eu. De exemplu armele au damage mai mare daca tragi asupra unui inamic aflat in miscare decat daca ar sta pe loc. Parca si hit boxul e mai mare in miscare.

    rogele are dreptate, e doar un joc . Si poate ca soldatii americani tin arma in mana stanga dar au uitat sa o faca si in joc

    Se moare mult mai repede. Nu stiu daca are importanta unde tragi. Doar la cap am vazut ca iti da dupa 1 hit, headshot. In BC2 trebuia sa tragi putin pana iti dadea hs.

    Ma enerveaza reculul armelor principale de la assault. Cu heavy barrel sunt greu de tinut drept pe verticala.

    Si totusi ce legatura are *** cu prefectura? Arme care nu au prin constructie cum sa "arunce" cartusele (nu ma pricep la termenii de specialitate) prin stanga o fac totusi. Si toti sunt dreptaci in BC2.

    Binenteles ca acolo e doar chestie estetica, dar la cat s-au chinuit cu sunetele de la arme, "feeling", etc... e aiurea sa o dea in bara tocmai cu asta.

    Cu privire la BF3, mi se pare si mie un pic de bull-****. Vine unul cu lanterna si vezi doamne ma "orbeste". In realitate (cum zice si ala) nu vad alt rost al lanternei decat sa-ti dai de gol pozitia.
    E o chestie pusa de umplutura de DICE cum e si health regen-ul la vehicule.

    Pai daca iti da lunete de 6x, 7x si 12x pentru 870 MCS, ce sa ne mai miram de laser si lanterna?
