Mercury Steam si Konami au dezvaluit astazi numarul de unitati vandute de Castlevania. Astfel, Lords of Shadow a ajuns la un numar de 1.000.000 de unitati vandute in total atat pe ambele continente, cat si pe cele 2 platforme: Playstation 3 si Xbox360. Lords of Shadow este un hack and slash superb, cu o poveste excelenta si cu un gameplay pe masura. Shinji Hirano, Presedintele Konami a declarat intr-un interviu urmatoarele:
