Gears of War 3 s-a instalat foarte repede pe prima treapta in topul vanzarilor din UK. Lansarea sa a fost atat de buna, incat in prima saptamana aproape a reusit sa vanda mai mult decat celelalte doua jocuri ale seriei combinate. Momentan, Gears of War 3 a avut cea mai buna lansare de anul, dar este doar a saptea cea mai mare lansare de pe Xbox 360 (a 12-a in toate formatele).
