Rambo The Game va fi prezentat la Gamescom 2012

Reef Entertainment ne aduce la cunostinta ca lumea jocurilor video va fi mai bogata cu un nou joc Rambo si ca acesta va fi prezentat la Gamescom 2012 (ce va avea loc in perioada 15-19 August). Tot acolo avem promisiunea ca ne vor fi oferite mai multe detalii despre acest nou proiect. Dar, pana atunci va spunem ca jocul va fi disponibil pentru platformele Windows, PlayStation 3 si Xbox 360.

"We have been quiet since we acquired the Rambo license last August. During this time we have been dedicated to creating a videogame for consoles and PC that will allow Rambo fans and gamers across the globe to really get under the skin of Rambo and wield his iconic weapon-set in battle" a declarat Craig Lewis, șeful de la Reef Entertainment.

The game will be a �fixed-perspective, first-person shooter and action game,� allowing players take on the role of John Rambo as he journeys through various scenes from the first three movies: First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Rambo III.
Gameplay will be comprised of shoot-outs, stealth killings, demolition, knife-play,destructible terrains, cover-based shooting, rag-doll physics and more Rambo stuff.

E Rambo...stii tu...dupa stilul lui de lupta se iau toti jucarorii de Call of Duty care au acces la M60 si nu numai.Nu am cine stie ce parere despre el.

Mdea... Grafic e cel putin hidos. Sper doar sa ai posibilitatea sa-l joci pe tot 3rd person si sa nu fie prea multe quick time events sau cinematics.

Jocul este on-rails, asa ca asteapta-te ca majoritatea sa fie jucat in first-person. Iar quick-time events cred ca vor fi destul de frecvente:

Teyon confirmed that the game is a rail-shooter hybrid with an emphasis on score-attack, so it’s obviously not a light gun game, but Rambo is automatically funnelled through each stage.

Curley explained that the QTE fights are comparable to Shenmue’s scripted battles in that they aren’t over-used, and he added that some actions – such as Rambo knocking over a table in one cinematic – can see it used as cover once gameplay resumes. The prompts are also used during the game’s mo-capped boss battles, and during gunplay to create twitch tactical options.
