While we don't yet have a release date for the Gears 2 patch Chocolate Rein promised the other day, we do have a little more information, in the form of seven new achievements.
They've recently turned up on Xbox.com, and appear certain to go live once the patch is released to the public. In all, there are 175 points up for grabs, with all seven achievements focused on the recent Flashback and Combustible maps.

I've been spamming this around a bit to be honest, but everyone's been so concerned with bashing the game to notice, and I want to let everyone know now so we don't see anymore threads on it. Here's some news from the Epic staff on upcoming fixes.

din pacate seara asta a pus capac la tot off-ul pe care il aveam cand jucam gow... este absolut aberant ca in momentul in care un jucator are lag, toata echipa sa capete lag fata de adversari... cu parere de rau va spun ca nu voi mai juca decat campanie cu cine va dori... multiplayer-ul mi-a lasat un gust amar... am incercat lunile astea sa nu bag in seama prea mult problemele pe care le are, dar sa ajung ca si pe privat sa vad ca sunt tot felul de bazaconii (personaje care zboara, altele bulletproof, altele care trec prin hail fara sa ii gadile macar, shotgun lag la greu etc etc)
Pacat, mai gandeste-te zic euOricum, ai si tu dreptate, in loc sa te relaxezi stai si iti freci nervii cu toate prostiile. Lasa, poate vei reveni pe viitor daca se vor mai aduce imbunatatiri, oricum, cu update-ul asta au facut un mare rahat.
Imi pare rau ca nu am putut intra aseara.. dar am fost prins cu alte treburi. Chiar n-am avut cum.

Avantajul hostului este absolut clar si jenant!!! Aseara am experimentat facand eu host pentru cateva meciuri cu baietii. Am dat head cu pistol, shotgunul avea puterea unui tanc si de Lancer ce sa mai zic? In 2 secunde era pe jos adversarul daca il prindeam in plin. Acum inteleg de ce Mo vrea sa fie host tot timpul

Numai ratați pe Public. Intru să joc Annex și după patru ore nimeresc un Annex și iese host-ul. Apoi mai stau �ncă o oră...mai nimeresc un Annex și ies toti mă lasa 1 vs 5. Ce-i asta?
Plus că din toate meciurile jucate 90% au fost Guardian...
Nu există trei rom�ni, cu toate hărțile cumpărate, să jucăm meciurile alea nenorocite de Annex și să scăpăm de public? Rușine! Bine că de țigări, alcool și alte prostii aveți bani.
