Tecmo Koei has announced the development of Fist of the North Star for PS3 and Xbox 360.
The game is based on the popular Manga series of the same name and follows the story of Kenshiro, a mysterious martial artist who is sworn to protect the innocent from the gangs that roam the post-apocalyptic wastelands following a nuclear holocaust.
The publisher promises the game will be a �successor to the side-scrollers and beat �em ups of old, but brought bang up to date with ground-breaking physics, combat, and gore inspired by the cult comic.�
Featuring multiple playable characters (with their own storylines), destructible environments, unlockable moves, hidden characters and �Faithfully reproduced FNS visuals�, Fist of the North Star will arrive on PS3 and Xbox 360 this summer.
