Dupa toate achizitiile THQ din ultima vreme, ce mai recenta fiind achizitia Vigil Games de catre Crytek, revenim cu inca o stire tot pe acelasi subiect. In aceasta dupa-amiaza Wargaming, producatorul seriei World of Tanks si a altor jocuri, a anuntat achizitia Day 1 Studios pentru modesta suma de 20 milioane $. Cei din urma fiind cunoscuti pentru jocurile F3AR, FEAR, Fracture si a seriei MechAssault. Noul studio a fost rebranduit cu numele de WargamingWest si se va concentra pe expansiunea companiei mama pe piata consolelor. Conform declaratiilor aparute pe site-ul oficial, deja lucreaza exclusiv la un titlu neanuntat pentru console (desi nu au specificat pentru care generatie).
