Rumor: Sony Unveiling "Storyteller" eBook Plan at E3 | PlayStation LifeStyle

It appears that Sony may be looking to bring the eBook market to their gaming devices, as rumors regarding a PlayStation-based eBook plan called “Storyteller” have just surfaced.


According to a report from MCV, Sony is planning to announce this new service at E3, which will allegedly allow users to view interactive documents and books on their PlayStation 3. Support for the Vita is apparently still in question, but honestly, I can’t image why anyone would want to read a book on that 5 inch screen anyway.

The source also believes that there will be a major emphasis on children’s content, which is a bit perplexing considering the general focus that Sony has toward a more mature audience.

As one would suspect, “Storyteller” will have its own dedicated section in the PlayStation Store. Mind you, since Sony has refused to comment on this report, we’ll need to treat this as nothing more than a rumor for the time being.

In sfarsit , o aplicatie importanta. Sper sa fie adevarat. Ar trebui sa mai apara un Yahoo messenger , Ebook Reader , Update la Web-browser , Microsoft Office , Internet Radio , etc... atunci sunt sigur ca PS vita se va vinde ca painea calda.

Dupa 6 luni de la lansare s-au trezit si ei sa lanseze Youtube. Majoritatea au renuntat rapid la Vita ca nu a oferit nimic din ce se cere acum pe piata. Acum 6 ani era smecherie PSP-ul cu mini browserul sau de net, dar in 2012 ai alte asteptari. Mai ales cand si un amarat de telefon de 300 de lei merge mai bine pe net si are mai multe jocuri. Jocuri nu, browsing nu, battery life nu. Incep sa imi vreau banii inapoi.

Nimic nou atunci , si pana acuma puteai cumpara jocuri PS1 de pe PS Store. Ar fi interesant daca ar aprarea cu un Update si sa ne putem instala jocuri prin Content Manager.

Incercati DEMO-urile Resistance si Gravity Rush de pe PSN, mi-au placut ambele, dar parca Gravity Rush mai mult, este mai open space si are ceva acel joc care te face sa te intorci la el, o sa iau Gravity rush cand apare, la Resistance inca ma gandesc...review-urile i-au dat note slabute.

PS: La E3 nu a fost nici o vorba de Killzone si Warriors Lair (RUIN) pt. Vita, pacat, eu astea le asteptam cel mai mult..

In loc sa arate fitness, dancing si alte prostii trebuiau sa arate gameplay la Darksiders 2, Assassin's Creed 3, ZombiU, jocuri care sunt jucabile la expozitie.
