SursaAs was suspected when Polyphony Digital announced GT5�s online maintenance schedule earlier this week, Kazunori Yamauchi has now confirmed, via Twitter, the game�s next update should become available on August 29th/30th.
Following up with his previous remarks about v1.11, he wisely tempers expectations, reiterating the update will focus only on fixing software bugs within the game. New �features and content�, he says, will be arriving �in September and October�. That said, it is worth noting GT5�s upcoming NASCAR Seasonal Event, featuring Jeff Gordon�s racing suit and helmet, is still scheduled to go live along with v1.11.
Kazunori has also hinted that he�s considering posting tweets in English, which would certainly be very welcome move by many of his non-Japanese-speaking followers and may help reduce the chance of mis-information spreading due to bungled translations.
Un nou update available pentru GT5. Bineanteles "bug fixes". Ma gandesc ca o sa avem un GT5 "perfect" cu atatea bug fixes-uri. Cel putin pana apare GT6 sigur. Bine ca macar ne incalzeste ideea ca ne vom putea bucura si de "new features and content" intr-un viitor apopiat. Poate acuma dupa ce au reparat toate bug-urile o sa ne dea ceva DLC-uri sau un update veritabil. Pana atunci, bafta in trafic tuturor. Enjoy GT5!

P.S. am vazut ca deja specialistii au doborat recordul, sub 1.16 de ceva timp. Au avut si timp mai mult la dispozitie, nu doar 15 minute.

Bai cat va urasc. Am asteptat sa apara GT5 cu acelasi interes cu care asteapta un copil sa ajunga la magazinul de dulciuri. Cu toate acestea nici ps3 nu am avut de atunci si pana astazi. L-am vandut acum vreo 2 ani. Zilele astea sper sa fac rost de bani sa cumpar unul asa ca pregatiti-va cauciucurile!

Kazunori Yamauchi has confirmed that GT5 will be getting a Spec II Update in October. He thanked fans for waiting for so long and mentioned that they will be rewarded soon. When GT5 Prologue got a Spec 2.0 update, it added 34 new cars. What will GT5 update do? We have no idea.
This is what he said, “GT fans, thanks for waiting… The GT5 Spec 2.0 update is coming the 3rd week of October, with DLC following a week later.”
Hopefully they will convert a lot of cars to premium, and maybe, add some new tracks to the game as well. Polyphony Digital has been supporting the game for a long time now, since it came out, and this sort of dedication is unheard of.
Its rival Forza Motorsport 4 will be releasing in the same month, and it will be interesting to see how this impacts its launch. But for now, GT5 fans rejoice! Your time has come.

O sa vedem 34 masini noi de la NISSAN, NISSAN si NISSAN, un circuit proaspat copiat din GT4 si o promisiune gen "endurance save feature" pe Twitter. Poate am fost cam rautacios dar mai bine asa decat sa fiu dezamagit de promisiuni. Oricum GT5 e un joc foarte bun. Pacat ca dureaza asa de mult "scarpinatul" asta pentru update-uri. Asteptam cu rabdare si "tocim" seasonal events pana atunci...
70% din masini sunt japoneze. E groaznic, mai ales cand te pune sa conduci vechituri de masini asiatice care nici nu sunt premium. Si la chestia cu "endurance save feature" ne duc cu zaharelul de vreo 6 luni. Povesti

Personally, I already have two of those, but I’m sure many still didn’t manage to get their hands on the rather overpowered beast. If you’re planning to get Gran Turismo 5, or to return to it when the Spec 2.0 update (that we still know nothing about) will hit, it might be wise to do so a week or so earlier in order to get this car.
