Din pacate va fi un fail, pentru ca a uitat de touchpad, iar la ecran s-au zgarcit maxim si au mers pe LCD. Nu mai vorbesc de marginile acelea care sunt horror (cred ca intra un 8-9" in locul acelui 7").

Also, eu chiar urasc produsele pe care producatorul tine mortis sa isi afiseze logo-ul mare, in asa fel incat sa-l vezi tu non-stop. Mainene, daca tot vrei sa-ti faci reclama, pune logo-ul pe spate, undeva... mie lasa-mi ecranul in pace. Imi aduce aminte de Samsung pe vremuri, care una doua isi punea logo-ul pe partea frontala a telefoanelor. Meh...

Ally X - Ally primeste niste imbunatatiri si pret mai mare, dar nu e 2. Prezentare in 2 iunie:

Again, no specs today, but Asus says the Ally X should now have more than its current 16GB of RAM so that you can allocate lots of it to the GPU without impacting the rest of the system. It should have a longer M.2 2280 SSD slot, so buyers can more easily find and purchase larger SSD upgrades than the current M.2 2230 allows.

The Ally X should also be even more repairable, with redesigned joystick modules that are more interchangeable — and upgradable, I imagine, if Gulikit steps up? While I didn’t get to see it for myself, Asus says the handheld will be slightly heavier due to the larger battery, with revised grips, and slight tuning to things like the D-Pad, joysticks, and triggers. Valve's next game is an Overwatch-style third-person hero shooter named Deadlock, a new report has stated.

Details have emerged from an ongoing closed alpha playtest of the game, which veteran Valve reporter Tyler McVicker said currently has "hundreds" of people playing, ahead of an imminent public announcement for the project.

Images from Deadlock's playtest now circulating on social media show six-vs-six teams battling on large maps with lanes, with usable items and hero abilities.

McVicker describes the project as having MOBA and tower defense-inspired elements - "like Valorant, Overwatch, Dota 2 and Team Fortress 2 had a baby".

The sci-fi setting of the game looks distinct from that of any Valve game setting so far - so no, this isn't a new Half-Life spin-off. Images show a character named Grey Talon, armed with a bow who can also use traps.

McVicker reports that Deadlock is Valve's next "major" project, and that it has been in development in one form or other since 2018. That's well before the ever-secretive Valve launched Counter-Strike 2 last year as a replacement for CS:GO, and even before it launched Half-Life: Alyx in 2020 for SteamVR-compatible headsets.

As already leaked, the game is a 6v6 third-person hero-based shooter. Heroes include magicians, robots, creatures, humans, and more. There are currently 19 different heroes, each with different abilities and playstyles that you'd come to expect from a MOBA including ranged, healers, tanks, assassins, etc.

Players have described the game to me as being very similar to DOTA in terms of its gameplay loop and mechanics. This includes killing enemies and creeps to get the in-game currency of "souls," which allows you to buy items to make your hero stronger. According to sources, both creeps and enemies will spawn a soul upon death, which floats up and away when they die. You collect the most souls by shooting at them (souls that float away still provide a small amount of souls currency). As for the creeps, they are spawned randomly throughout the map, including a larger AI boss in the middle of the map. Some players also outlined that there is also "spirit urns", which players can deposit in the middle of the map to give the whole team more souls (the spirit urn carrier is visible to all players on the minimap).

Există proiecte de RTX Remix pentru multe alte jocuri NFS: Underground 2, Most Wanted și Carbon (dintre cele care mă interesează pe mine). Problema pe care am văzut-o la instalare este că nu funcționează chiar așa bine și cu o placă decentă ca RTX 3060 Ti a mea jocul rulează cam greu. Mi-e greu să cred că e nevoie de RTX 3080 sau 4080 ca să rulezi un RTX Remix pentru un joc atât de vechi.

Microsoft Auto SR:

Microsoft's 'Windows on ARM' initiative isn't great for gaming right now - but its Auto SR technology is definitely intriguing. Using a hardware neural processing unit, Auto SR is a screen-space AI upscaler that takes game resolutions in the 700 to 900 line range and makes them look much more presentable on higher resolution displays - good for laptops for sure, but not that bad on a desktop either. It's not really comparable to DLSS etc, but it's certainly interesting and doesn't impact frame-rates - though it does add 12ms of input lag. Rich has the full low-down.
