Not bad avand in vedere ca s-au vandut nu doar jocuri ci si postere sau action figure-uri. Si acuma inca mai sunt destule chestii puse la licitatie (Bayonetta costume, Sackboy concept art, Ultimate Halo Reach Experience "pack", un posterboard Valkyria Chronicles care momentan valoreaza 800$ si muuulte altele).

PlayStation Users Donate Huge to Japan Relief Effort | PlayStation LifeStyle

Sony has updated the status of the Great East Japan Earthquake Relief Effort which started March 19th in the U.S. and quickly spread to support over 40 countries with access to the PlayStation Network. Gamers across these countries have come together and raised 109.6 million yen ($1.318 million) as of March 31st.

Kaz Harai, President and Group CEO at Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. wanted to relay this message to PS3 users who have given what they can to this effort.

We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. While we continue to make every effort to help the recovery of the affected communities in the region, I would like to express our gratitude to every single PlayStation user across the world who made a contribution to the effort.

Sony will be donating the full amount of the money to an organization in each region and Sony will continue to support this relief effort. We here at PlayStation LifeStyle would also like to thank everyone who has done their part to help those in need after the devastating events that rocked Japan.

Caruso a precizat că seismul este cea mai puternică dintre cele peste 1.000 de replici ale seismului de luna trecută

Grasshopper Manufacture raises $80,000 for Japanese relief funds | VG247

Grasshopper Manufacture has raised over $80,000 for Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief funds.

One way was through ab iOS App, Frog Minutes, which earned $20,000 – 100 percent of which went into the fund.
Some of the money also came from the firm’s ties with charity firm Play For Japan, and Akira Yamaoka even auctioned off his guitar and instrument gear to raise $10,000.
EA, the publisher behind the firm’s Shadows of the Damned, donated $50,000 to the Red Cross in Grasshopper’s name.

Is curios care e situatia in Japonia acuma. Cat de mult si-au revenit, cum arata orasele afectate etc. Nu am mai vazut demult niste stiri legate de Japonia pe CNN. De cand am vazut stirea aceea cu construirea soselei in 4-5 zile de atunci am devenit foarte curios cat de rapid vor repara restul cladirilor, soselelor etc.

European PSN raises �466,000 for Red Cross JP tsunami relief | VG247

Sony has announced that European PSN members managed to donate �466,000 for the Red Cross’s Japanese tsunami relief. In a letter on the EU PS Blog, the Red Cross thanked users for donating money – the exact sum being �466,465.60 – via the PlayStation Store to the charity following the terrible events in the country back in March. PSN Japan tsunami appeal brings in over �1 million | VG247

Sony’s announced that it has risen just under �130 million (�1.01 million) thanks to the PlayStation Network appeal in the aftermath of Japan’s earthquake and tsunami in Japan. �260,955 was raised in the US, while those in Europe gave �538,122: the last count was at �466,000 for the PAL regions last month. Asian countries bar Japan donated �16,673, while Japan itself gave �181,751.
