Batman Arkham City; Arkham City to have Five Times The Amount of Characters
...it�s been revealed that Batman: Arkham City will contain �five times as many characters� compared to the original, Batman: Arkham Asylum. These range from caped crusader�s super villains, The Joker, Two-Face and The Riddler as well as some other familiar characters including Alfred and Jack Ryder.

Rocksteady: Arkham City to feature 40 hours’ worth of story content | VG247
Rocksteady has said that it’ll feature 40 hours worth of main and non-main story content combined.
It told The Guardian that it’ll feature 15 hours worth of side-missions.
“The Side Missions in Batman: Arkham City are a good example. We have around 15 hours of story that’s off the main path,” said game director Sefton Hill.
“It’s completely down to the player when and how they want to tackle this – there’s no right or wrong time. There’s no other medium that can offer this kind of flexible experience where the viewer gets to tailor the experience they want themselves.
“In terms of narrative structure, I think games are much more analogous to an episodic TV series than a film. You have, say, 15 hourly episodes to fill, each requiring its own narrative arc but each plugging into an overarching storyline.
“It requires a lot of planning to make sure that every single hour is consistent with each other, is feeding and driving towards a compelling crescendo, while remaining implicitly self-explanatory so players can pick up and play at any time and know what they are doing.”
Not content there, Hill confirmed a 25 hour completion timeframe for the game’s main story.
“It takes over 25 hours to complete the main stories in Batman: Arkham City. To keep players engaged for this length of time, not only do the characters and the story need to progress, but the core mechanics of the game they are playing need to change and adapt as well.”

Foarte interesante acele comics, de astfel si celelalte noutati. Se pare ca am pierdut multe intr-o saptamana in care am fost departe de PC.
BTW: S-a anuntat lista de jocuri a celor de la Warner Bros ce vor fi prezente la E3.

Ca si in Arkham Asylum, toti inamicii lui Batman merg la sala de forta.
Noi detalii dezvaluite in revista PSM3 Uk:
-te vei putea ghida dupa bat-signalurile din oras. Scanand cerul, vei gasi lumini miscandu-se printre nor.
-unele personaje vor ramane "evidentiate" dupa iesirea din detective mode. In acest caz e sigur un discipol al lui Riddler.
-The Penguin conduce Muzeul de Istorie Naturala din Gotham
-monoclul sau este de fapt fundul unei sticle. Ar fi prea riscant sa il scoata, insa se pare ca lui ii place sa il poarte.
-The Penguin a fost inca de la inceput in Arkham City, fiind primul intrat in capcana lui Q.Sharp
-alti villains confirmati: Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Talia al Ghul
Posterul cu "The Graysons", vazut acum ceva vreme in trailerul jocului, la o rezolutie superioara (posibil indiciu pentru Robin). Plus o poza cu noul challenge map ce va fi exclusiv pentru una din console.
Din interviul celor de la OXM cu Sefton Hill s-au aflat urmatoarele:
- Batman can perform a new move to get under a car and other tight places and snag a Riddler trophy
- Other additions include a brutual new Batclaw takedown, in which Batman pulls enemies towards him, before sweeping their legs out from under them, causing them to face plant viciously into the floor, ouch!
- Batman can now also sabotage enemies weapons, so that when they attempt to shot him, the gun jams.
- Arkham City will feature a new and improved Remote Control Batarang, which is capable of braking, performing U-turns, and boosting through the air!
- The 124th issue also confirmed the following locations, including the GCPD building, the Bowery, Wonder Tower, and Amusement Mile!

Dupa trailerul de ieri, Rocksteady a mai publicat o serie de screenshot-uri ce o infatiseaza pe Catwoman si cativa thugs din bandele lui Penguin si Two-Face.
Lol, de ce l-au facut concav pe cel de PS3, o sa reduca mult vanzarile pentru ca cei care au doar PS3 sunt obisnuiti cu convex...
