Sonya Confirmed for Mortal Kombat 2011

IgroMania, the Russian video game magazine, has confirmed that Sonya will be in Mortal Kombat 2011. They have revealed an alternate cover for thier magazine showcasing the Mortal Kombat 2011 fighter, Sonya Blade. Issue Number 159 features Sonya and Scorpion. The issue goes on sale November 23 including a five-page article on Mortal Kombat 2011.

Mortal Kombat Website Leak Reveals Characters

There was an accidental leak of audio files on the Official Mortal Kombat website. The directory contained intro voice overs and theme music for Mortal Kombat 2011. The directory has now been fixed so that it can't be viewed. The files may have been for an iPhone version of the Mortal Kombat website. The audio files are for the following characters: Ermac, Goro, Human Sektor, Kabal, Noob Saibot, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Sindel, Smoke, Stryker. Test Your Might and Brutality clips were also present. At this time we aren't sure what this means, but it does appear to confirm the existence of the above characters in the new game, but we won't know for sure until announcements are made by NetherRealm Studios.

KRATOS TO STAR IN UPCOMING MORTAL KOMBAT

Mortal Kombat has seen quite a few changes, mishaps, and styles over the long history of the franchise. After a not so well received Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe hit the market, Ed Boon and the Mortal Kombat franchise are looking to rebound with an exclusive character on at least one of the consoles.

Thanks to the January issue of the Official Playstation Magazine, we've learned just who that character is. When Mortal Kombat drops next year in March, Playstation 3 owners will be able to use an exclusive character none other than Kratos himself from the God of War series. Not only will Kratos be featured in the game, he'll have his own fatalities, combat moves, and his very own God of War themed combat arena.

While Kratos will be featured in the game, he won't be a playable character in the story mode. We're rather happy to see Kratos make his entry into the Mortal Kombat series, as he's known as one of the more iconic members of the Playstation 3 family and he loves violence.

Earlier in the year, around the time of E3, the idea was sparked by the HipHopGamerShow that Kratos would be making his way into the Mortal Kombat series. A few months later, and we finally have the official proof off the addition of of Kratos in the iconic series.

Deci kratos ala mai bine si-ar impacheta bocceluta si s-ar duce acas sa ne lase in pace cu treaba noastra. M-am saturat de cameouri d-astea ffs...

kratos in Soul calibur broken destiny a fost destul de ok(era distractiv sa te joci cu el si nu trebuia foarte multa experianta sa faci anumite combo-uri). Eu o sa astept sa apara jocul, o sa vad cum e sa joci cu kratos, cat de echilibrat e sa joci cu el fata de restu si abea apoi o sa imi dau cu pararea. Nu incep sa arunc de pe acuma cu rosii ca nu are rost.
Oricum solutia pt cei care nu il suporta pe Kratos e usor:1. Nu joaca cu el
2.Cumpara versiunea de xbox si asa nici macar nu o sa il ai ca adversar

Asa ati facut si cand a fost anuntat Vader, Yoda sau The Apprentice la Soul Calibur 4? Eu mai degraba as spune ca aia nu au ce comenta intr-un fighting game si de aceea nu joc niciodata cu ei. Easy as that.

Asa ca eu ma bucur ca au decis sa renunte la cei 30 de luptatori aproape identici din MK Armageddon(de asta treaba asta nu s-a legat nimeni) si sa lase doar personajele mai importate+un mic bonus posesorilor de ps3(asta ii si strategie ca sa alegi versiunea de ps3 a jocului in schimbul celei de xbox)

Presupun ca or sa adauge ceva si pentru versiunea de Xbox. Citisem undeva ca Marcus Fenix din Gears ar putea fi o alegere....

Nici nu pot vedea o gherla mai mare in Mortal Kombat. Mai ales la un joc care primeste reboot. Nu am nimic cu Kratos sunt fan mare al seriei GOW, dar totusi sa ramana pe "realm-ul" lui. Credeam ca s-a trezit Boon cand a promis ca aduce jocul la "radacini"...

Nu prea ai prins ideea. Pe mine unul jucator pro nici nu ma intreseaza Story la acest joc.
