Gran Turismo 5 Main Game Modes Detailed

It�s been a long wait but Gran Turismo 5 will finally be out this November and the full main game modes are revealed today.
Check back with us near the release date of Gran Turismo 5 for more exclusive coverage of the game. Here are some of the game modes gamers can look forward to this Fall.

GT LIFE

�GT LIFE� as it�s now called is the main career mode in Gran Turismo 5. Everything is dome in this mode such as buying a car, earning licenses and winning races.
Here are the two main career modes you can participate in :

A-Spec

This is the mode where you�ll try and become the best pro-racer on the circuit. You can improve your driving skills by undertaking races and challenges. This is where you get the chance to experinece what it�s like being a real-life racing professional.

B-Spec

Again, as seen in Gran Tursimo 4 this is the mode where you�ll assume the role of a racing crew chief. You�ll be coaching the A.I. driver in lieu of racing yourself. You�ll be training his skills as a racer and often giving him directions during each race.
Other game modes include:

Garage

Of course it would not be a Gran Turismo game without a garage. Here you can view all the cars you�ve earned or bought throughout the game. As mentioned numerous times before, the game will have over 1000 vehicles.

Course Maker

This is where you can make your own racing track. You can get to choose the type of environment to race on, the length of the course and more. You can get to share your creations online.
This is only some of the many features that will be included in Gran Tursimo 5. The game is out on November 2nd in North America and November 3rd in Japan and Europe. It is a PlayStation 3 exclusive.

Gran Turismo will have an optional 10 GB install - Destructoid

While Gran Turismo 5 doesn't actually require an install other than a minor 256 MB one, it evidently won't play at its pique performance that way. No, to get it running at its best you'll need to choose to do a 10 GB install that will take you five days to get done. I made that last part up, but the 10 GB is real.
